I am now a Senior Bodywork Teacher , Supervisor and Practitioner…. how did that happen?
I attended a short workshop simply for fun – but found something so intriguing and different from anything else that I had experienced, that I felt I simply had to find out more. I started attending every course that I could. I had never intended to train to become a practitioner, I was just following my passion to know and understand ‘more’ about why people feel what they feel, and to experience the untapped potential that so many people have inside them but never access…… it has been an incredible journey, and now here I am.
Sharing Rosen Method with people interested in what I call ‘peaceful’ touch and communication, is a privilege; whether they are coming purely out of their own interest to understand themselves and feel better, or with a view to helping others break limiting patterns of tension that limit ‘joy’. I’ve managed to successfully combine my love of the creative arts and Rosen Method, finding that each field compliments the other. The more I learn about the mind body relationship – the more I find it fascinating that as we change and grow in our personal lives – we can feel so differently in our body, and vice versa. Seeing the transformative impact of Rosen Method over the years is truly inspiring, and I cannot imagine my life now without it. It is such a beautiful method and impacts each person uniquely – as Hans Axelson said – “it’s simplicity is genius!”
I have a BA and MA from the University of Wales.
I’m a Member of Complementary Health Professionals and a Member of the Rosen Institute.
