Stroud and Nailsworth in Gloucestershire

I have varied professional experiences which reflect my wide interests. I trained in Physiotherapy, Allergy Therapy, Reiki, adult education, coaching, Waldorf kindergarten work, administration, and conflict resolution. Working as a physiotherapist with patients who had suffered severe injuries to the central nervous system, I observed that gentle, unhurried touch has a soothing and relaxing effect on the nervous system. This I find again in Rosen Method work, and I enjoy the possibilities that this can create for a client. In addition to practicing Rosen Method as an intern, I work as Community Secretary for a local church.
In 2018 I had my first Rosen session during which I had a profound inner experience. I loved the kind touch and the fact that there was no agenda. Rosen method does not manipulate or ‘fix’ anything, rather it gently invites the client into a process of self-discovery and letting go. I began the Rosen training in 2019, pausing for two years due to lockdowns and a lengthy recovery from long covid, which taught me the debilitating effects of post-viral fatigue. I have one son aged mid-twenties and live with my partner in Stroud.
