It was a chance encounter with someone while I was attending a plant medicine retreat deep in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest, that first introduced me to Rosen work.
At the time, I had reached a crossroads in my life, having recently been treated for cancer and leaving behind a successful career in hospitality. Let’s say I was ready to explore ways to be gentler, healthier and more present with myself.
As this person spoke about her long and transformative relationship with Rosen, I knew instantly that this mysterious work would be part of my future. On my return to the UK, I signed up for my first Rosen intensive and so I took the first steps on the Rosen path that I’m still on.
Many private sessions and intensives later, I can honestly say that Rosen Method Bodywork has been a transformative force in my life. Gently and gradually, this work has been an invitation to come back home to my own body, reclaiming along the way the parts of myself I’d left behind. Although I have been on a path of self-enquiry for as long as I can remember, it has been Rosen work that has grounded me in my own embodied awareness.
I’m so grateful for having found this exquisitely simple yet profound work – for how it continues to bring me into wholeness every day.
For the last four years, I have been offering sessions as a Rosen Method Bodywork Intern. From my home in Hackney, East London, I offer sessions in a quiet, private and safe space that is dedicated to the work.
I am currently one of only a handful of male practitioners and I’m dedicated and passionate about introducing Rosen touch to more men. I also love working with, and welcome my LGBTQIA+ family.
When I’m not offering Rosen work, I love engaging with all that the London culture, art and food scene has to offer. I have an ongoing and much-cherished meditation practice and interest in non-dual teaching. On my days off I love to garden.
